Hi Guys

Can I sneak back in this way ... please? I wondered if I tiptoed in quietly perhaps no-one will ever notice I went awol. Yes, I know it has been a long time but I have been checking back regularly, just not posting my thoughts, so I do know what you have all been getting up to especially on the nights out!!

You're a great bunch of guys and I thought if I came bearing gifts perhaps you would be kind to me and overlook my absence. So here I am, a bottle of red in my right hand and a bottle of white in my left and peanuts in my ... ooh err Blink , let's skip the peanuts!! BANG, CRASH, THUD ... eek, what's this red boot doing here? What's this trail of tassels? Jenni? Jean? And, I'm sure there's evidence of Eleanor passing this way!

I have missed chatting with you all and have shared your 'ups and downs' over the last twelve months. It has been a difficult time for me but hopefully things will start to improve soon.

To those of you I haven't met my name is Lyn and I live in Lancashire. I'm married to Mike and have four children, 22, 16,16 and 15. I have had rheumatoid arthritis for 21+years and tried all the various medication out there, well it feels like it even if it isn't quite the case!! So welcome to all the new members. ThumpUp

I look forward to chatting with you all again if you will have me!

Love

Hiya Lyn!!!

WELCOME BACK!

wow this is wierd...I've been thinking of you loads lately and wondering how you might be. I changed my mobile number and seem to have lost your number somewhere along the way or I would have been in touch.
How are you...I know the last time we 'chatted' you were having some Enbrel related problems...have things settled or are you on different meds now?
Hope the family are all well.

look forward to seeing more of your posts soon

Hi Lyn,

Nice to see you back!
You didn't have to bring the wine but seeing as you have, it would be rude not to drink it!LOL

GREAT to have you back!!! It seems an age since you, Eleanor and I met up in Blackpool at the River Wyre! Must be a couple of years or so. We still come up to see Gwenda so we will have to get together again soon and catch up.

Wow guys!

Thank you so much for the welcome back ... I feel like I'm with my friends again. Too many sad times of late, long story, but lovely to receive such warm thoughts. Time has flown by, in some respects, but I remember like it was yesterday meeting up with you Jean, and Eleanor, at the River Wyre, and of course Diane in Liverpool. Great times!

Kids are all growing up, as they do. Abby has finished her degree and is starting a PGCE Primary teaching course in September. Ian and Jake are now at sixth form college doing A levels and Louis is year 10 and GCSEs are well underway.

I'm still ... me!!

Jean, thanks for the pm, I will email you tomorrow. Diane, I will pm you my email address and mobile no. I too changed phones and lost a load of numbers and my hard drive crashed so lost my email address book. So much for technology!! Jenni, I know you are not well right now but what's happened to your tassels? Someone nick 'em? Surely not?!

Glad you all enjoyed the wine. I look forward to the next night out BigGrin

Thank you Kathleen; lovely to hear from you. I'm really enjoying catching up with things and remembering what a great place this is! Not sure what took me so long to coming crawling back, I'm such a twit at timesRollEyes . I have a habit of taking on far too much then wonder why my 'sandcastles' come crashing down ... I forget the tide has to come in!!
